Experience

Mr. Zammit has had more than three decades of experience in commercial and technology arbitrations, as both an arbitrator and advocate. While in private practice, he was a senior member of his law firm's Intellectual Property and Technology Department and Disputes Department, and was also a member of the firm’s International Arbitration and ADR Practice Group. He has had more than 40 years of experience resolving business disputes. Mr. Zammit is a member of the Commercial Panel of the American Arbitration Association (specifically, for Large Complex, Technology, Intellectual Property, and Patent Cases), a Distinguished Neutral on the General Commercial and Technology Panels of the CPR International Institute for Conflict Prevention and Resolution, and a member of the Arbitration Panel of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York.

Teaching and Lecturing

Mr. Zammit has been an adjunct full professor of law at St. John's University, where he has taught courses on Computers and the Law and Drafting Intellectual Property Licenses. Mr. Zammit has lectured widely, both in the U.S. and abroad, on the subjects of information technology law, intellectual property, and arbitration at programs sponsored by the American Bar Association, the New York City Bar Association, the Practising Law Institute, American Lawyer Media, the American Corporate Counsel Association, and others. In the spring of 2015, he was an invited Guest Lecturer at the University of Malta under the auspices of the U.S. Ambassador's Scholar Program and presented a series of lectures on "American Law and Legal Institutions." He also addressed the Malta Chamber of Advocates on the topic of "Comparing International Arbitration With Litigation."
